On the occasion of the release of the 2011 edition of Centerpoint Now, a publication of the World Council of Peoples for the United Nations, dedicated to the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations initiative of Turkey and Spain, Gema Alava was invited to present her project Trust Me to the UN community, in the company of other contributors to the journal, followed by a reception. The Permanent Missions of Spain and Qatar, and the UN Alliance of Civilizations Secretariat will also be present as co-hosts and decided on this date as it coincides with a meeting of Member States belonging to the Alliance of Civilizations.
The event was hosted by the Permanent Mission of Turkey to the United Nations, and co-hosted by the UN Alliance of Civilizations Secretariat. It took place on June 9, 2011, at the United Nations Headquartes in New York City.
